About Fernbank Holiday Cottage

Fernbank Holiday Cottage is situated at the junction of Shore road and Middle road in Whiting Bay, with beautiful open views to Holy Island and the Ayrshire coast.

The cottage has a large front garden, mainly in grass, with a picnic table and loungers available. Just across the road is a long sandy beach which is perfect for swimming, beachcombing, games or just sunbathing.

There is off-road parking for one car beside the house and more spaces on Shore road 50 metres from Fernbank's front door.

Shops, a post office, chemist, pub and restaurants are all within five minutes walk as is the putting green, and both Whiting Bay golf course and the bowling green are close by and welcome visitors. The village is also the starting point for walks to Glenashdale Falls, the highest waterfall on the island, and the Giants’ Graves, Neolithic chambered cairns over 5000 years old.
